Game: Breaking Glasses

A major manufacturer of technologies for corrective eye surgery wanted a game that was as much fun as “Angry Birds” and that would reinforce the message that their device removes the need for glasses.

BREAKING GLASSES” was the solution, a challenge that used physics and collision-triggered exploding animations with fun sound effects. Players used a joystick to aim a cannon at the glasses (and occasional contact lens case) and break them. Following classic rules of game play, each level became more target rich, with greater scoring potential.  Between each level, there was a short video showcasing the client’s advanced eye surgery systems.

For exhibition, two side-by-side game stations were networked to a leaderboard, which displayed the top ten highest scorers.  This game was staged multiple times.
